We highly recommend visiting Verdugo River’s Mouth and its beautiful istlet, kown as Medal Island o Insuiña, which belonged to the renowned Gallician painter Medal and where you gain access by crossing a drawbridge.

After a few minute’s walk you’ll find Matilde de Arcade beach, with a beautiful promenade along the river mouth that will bring you back to Ponte Sampaio.
You’ll also enjoy the high ecological value of Do Ulló salt marshes and the Monte de A Penda, a natural viewpoint giving you a stunning panorama of the stuary.
Within a 10 minute drive we find the Castle of Soutomaior and its perfect natural setting.
